The wine cellar was designed and installed by Cellar Masters.  We finished the wall not covered in wine racks with the same heavy plaster and glaze as the dining room right outside the beautiful iron crafted doors and windows.  We only glazed the walls that were covered with wine racks to save give the room the illusion that it has the same finish while saving the client some money.

From a faux finishers stand point, finishing a working wine cellar with a glaze is a snap.  The lower temperature and moist air really extends the drying time.  I think I could have put the glaze on and then went and ate a sandwich and came back and manipulated it without worrying about it drying on me.
