Can you believe this was white laminant???
This was a white laminate cabinet. We painted, crackled, glazed, antiqued and sealed them and did a whole lot of sanding in between.

Kitchen Transformation
To see how this kitchen looked before we faux painted it, click on the link. This was a total kitchen transformation starting from the ground up. The floors went from being pickled white to walnut. Crazy Walls took care of the walls and cabinetry. The countertop was replaced and a stone fireplace was added.
This kitchen started out with laminate cabinets with no molding or bead board trim. The pre faux finishing carpentry was done by a local handyman.

couple of decorative surfaces at play
This was such a great project to work on. This was one of my most satisfying experiences as a faux finisher. The relationship that developed with the client over the many months I was in her home was very productive. We very freely exchanged ideas. I think I effectively delivered the finishes the client was searching for. She respected my opinion and I respected hers and the design process was very fluid.
